RENE GAGNON

Rene Gagnon was born in 1971 and raised in the city of Fall River, Massachusetts. He started drawing graffiti on school book covers and piecing in railway tunnels in the early 80’s after seeing the movies, ”Wild Style” and “Beat Street”. His rebellious idea of searching for his identity through the use of markers and spray paint fueled his desire to follow in the footsteps of a graffiti artist. 

René Gagnon nato nel 1971 e cresciuto nella città di Fall River, Massachusetts. Ha iniziato a disegnare graffiti sulle copertine dei libri di scuola e  sui tunnel ferroviari nei primi anni '80 dopo aver visto i film "Wild Style" e "Beat Street". Le sue idee ribelli di cercare la propria identità attraverso l'uso di pennarelli e vernice spray ha alimentato il suo desiderio di seguire le orme di un artista di graffiti.
